They’ve left me planted! 🌵
Good try! Respuesta incorrecta. 👎
«Stand up and come up to the board. Yes, you, don’t pretend you didn’t hear me.»
En inglés, dejar plantado a alguien es ‘To stand someone up’.
Translation time!
Traduce estas frases:
Ni se te ocurra dejarme plantado.
Don’t even think about standing me up.
¡Me dejaste plantado!
You stood me up!
Me dió plantón en la primera cita.
He/she stood me up on the first date.
No me gusta dejar a la gente plantada.
I don’t like standing people up.
Nunca te dejaría plantado.
I would never stand you up.
They have stood me up, can you believe it?
¡Cómo te atraves a dejar plantado a tu jefe/a!
How dare you stand your boss up!
See you in a bit!
