Oh for goodness sake! Stop it! 🙈
Don’t worry, no boring stuff here! We’ve got you covered!
¡Es hora de ponerse las pilas! It’s time to pull your socks up!
1. Cheer up!
¡Anímate! ¡Alegra esa cara!
«I don’t celebrate my birthday anymore, I’m too old.»
«Cheer up! Better old than dead!»
2. Chin up!
«I missed the train, I stepped on a dog poo and I turned up late for my doctor’s appointment!»
«Chin up! Tomorrow’s another day.»
3. It’s not the end of the world
¡No es el fin del mundo!
«I’m totally gutted that I left my new jacket on the plane.»
«Come on, it’s not the end of the world, we might be able to find a similar one online.»
4. Look on the bright side
¡Mira el lado positivo!
«If it rains tomorrow, your car will get washed! Look on the bright side!»
5. Don’t worry, it’ll be fine
No te preocupes, todo irá bien.
«I’m a bit concerned about my dog, he hasn’t eaten his food today, shall I take him to the vet?»
«Oh it’s probably just the heat. Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.»
«I’m really not looking forward to my presentation tomorrow.»
«Don’t worry. I’m sure you’ll be fine.»
6. There are plenty more fish in the sea
¡Hay muchos más peces en el mar! 🐠
«My boyfriend dumped me on the last day of our holiday.»
«What a nasty … Well, don’t worry, there’re plenty more fish in the sea.»
Si estas expresiones no te han levantado la moral lo suficiente, te recomendamos escuchar nuestro podcast sobre ‘The Power of Now’, el libro que ha cambiado la vida de miles de personas,. Escúchalo aquí.
We hope to see you again soon!
Ta ta for now! 👋
