Los lunes es lo que toca, ¡vuelta al curro y al inglés! En este vídeo verás un sketch en el que hemos incluido diez ‘phrasal verbs’ que son utilizados frecuentemente en el ámbito laboral.

To settle down: relajarse, ponerse cómodo.
«Ok everyone, settle down, the meeting is about to start.»
To get through: en este contexto, quiere decir tener mucho de qué hablar o mucho trabajo que hacer.
«We have a lot to get through in this meeting.»
To crack on: comenzar, empezar, ponerse en serio con algo.
«So, let’s crack on with it!»
To be off work: estar fuera del trabajo, bien sea por día libre, vacaciones o baja laboral.
«He’s off work with measles.»
Vocabulario 👉 measles: sarampión.
To fill in: reemplazar o sustituir a otro trabajador.
«She’s the perfect candidate to fill in that position.»
To take over: quedarse a cargo, relevar.
«Isabel will take over his work.»
To call off: cancelar.
«Unfortunately the event has been called off due to some issues with the flights.»
To bring up: sacar un tema.
«Thanks for bringing that up, I was just about to mention it.»
To point out: señalar, indicar, puntualizar.
«Good observation, thanks for pointing that out!»
To look into: investigar, revisar o estudiar un asunto.
«I’m looking into the problem with the printer.»
