Parece ser que se le escapó a Tarantino en una conversación bien empapadita de alcohol, en una de las muchas fiestas que estos días proliferan en las colinas de Hollywood y alguien, como manda el manual de buen correveidile, se apresuró a tuitearlo: Almodóvar, el director español con el que todas las estrellas internacionales quieren trabajar iba a debutar en Hollywood… como actor.
As an actor? Are you serious? Debieron decir más o menos quienes le daban palique a Tarantino. Como actor, y a sus órdenes.
La colaboración entre ambos pudo empezar a fraguarse cuando ambos coincidieron, el pasado febrero, en la ceremonia de los Oscar. Allí, sonrientes, y demostrando buena química, entregaron el Oscar la mejor película extranjera y después se marcharon juntos a quemar la noche. Más tarde, habría sido Antonio Banderas quien habría aprovechado el rodaje de ‘La piel que habito’ para convencer al manchego de que aceptara la oferta de Quentin.
Del papel que Tarantino le ha reservado a su amigo Almodóvar, de quien dice con admiración que es uno de los veinte mejores directores del mundo, ha trascendido solo una enigmática frase que Tarantino dio a modo de explicación cuando fue preguntado por este asunto por Hollywood.com : «Dará mucho que hablar. Almódovar es un gran transformer que sabe combinar lo siniestro, lo cómico y lo ambiguo con absoluta maestría».
¿Qué quiere decir exactamente Tarantino con eso? ¿Qué convertirá a Almodóvar en un psicópata asesino, con una vis cómica al estilo de Brad Pitt en ‘Malditos Bastardos’? ¿Que lo travestirá para emular a Anthony Perkins en Psicosis?
La solución llegará cuando comience el rodaje de ‘The lost land of the crazy boy’, o tal vez era ‘The crazy land of the lost boy’, previsto para finales de agosto. Almodóvar, inmerso en la postproducción de su última película, ni ha confirmado ni ha negado las palabras de Tarantino.
Actualizado a las 12.23 horas. EVIDENTEMENTE SE TRATA DE UNA INOCENTADA; pero podría haber sido perfectamente posible dada la buena amistad que une a estos dos grandes directores.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of «neighbors» will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune «Social» is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
