Si todo hubiera salido como tenía previsto, ahora tendría que estar escribiendo sobre lo poco o mucha que me había gustado ‘Biutiful’, sobre si a Iñárritu, como dicen algunos, se le nota un poco perdido desde que ha roto con Arriaga o sobre si Bardem está tan magnífico como dicen los críticos; pero nada ha salido como estaba previsto. La culpa: los que iban a ser mis acompañantes en la última sesión de un cine de provincias se enteraron casi en la misma cola del cine que la película iba sobre un enfermo de cáncer terminal que tenía dos hijos. Y ahí pararon de leer y, de paso, de hacer cola: «por encima de nuestro cadáver», vinieron a decirme entre sonrisas, pero categóricos. «Te pagamos las copas que quieras, pero no nos hagas entrar a ver dramas«.
Y varias copas más tarde, retomando el tema del cine, indago un poco más en sus fobias fílmicas, que en realidad se reducen a una: nada que les haga sufrir demasiado. No es por el cáncer, me dicen (afortunadamente ninguno ha tenido ninguna experiencia cercana relacionada con la enfermedad), es porque no quieren entrar en una sala para pasarlo mal. Si un filme les huele a angustia y tristeza, lo rechazan sin darle una oportunidad. Da igual quién trabaje, quién lo dirija o los premios que haya conseguido, «al cine no se va a amargarse uno la vida». Y ante tal convencimiento yo tengo poco que decir, ni siquiera intento colar un «pero bueno, al fin y al cabo es solo una película», porque entiendo que se sobrentiende. Quizá me dé un poco de pena pensar que su rechazo a sufrir les esté privando de ver buenas películas, pero lo respeto.
Así que me reservo el filme para otro día, para otros amigos a los que no les importe un poco de sobredosis de realidad.
¿Qué opináis vosotros? ¿Hay algún tema que os eche para atrás a la hora de ver una película? ¿Os dan pereza los dramas ‘cargaditos’?
Después de lo ocurrió con mi mujer, me quedó un póso muy profundo, que sale cuando alguna película u obra de teatro, toca algún tema de esta índole y no lo puedo controlar. La sensibilidad la tengo tan a flor de piel, aunque el póso esté profundo que es muy dificil para mi ver esto. Estoy por ir a ver esta película, por encima de todo por Barden, que es un actor de lo mejor que hay dentro y fuera de España.Según me dicen, su actuación es fabulosa.-Salu2

Yo creo que tendemos a hacer lo que nos «gusta» y eso es algo difuso, hay gente que disfruta con pelis tristes y otros que no y por eso no lo ven, hay gente que disfruta haciendo puenting, y otros que mueren solo de pensar en ello.
Yo aquí, estoy con tus amigos, prefiero no ver este tipo de pelis.

Pues a mi me gusta cualquier pelicula de cualquier genero que sea buena, que este bien hecha y que tenga un sentido lo que pasa aunque sea ficcion.
Y por lo que dicen Biutiful es mala y ademas te deja un poso amargo luego para que ir a verla? pero porque es mala, no porque sea triste.
Pero me parece bien que cada uno vea las peliculas que quiera. Lo que pasa que la mayoria quiere productos de «no pensar» y evidentemente eso hacen las productoras y por eso el cine ultimamente y en general es tan malo
EL otro dia le pedian a Carlos Boyero que recomendara una pelicula de las que hay en cartelera en la actualidad y se quedo en blanco, no me extraña, es que no hay nada decente para ver.
Bueno yo vi Neds el otro dia, no estuvo mal, pero no es para tirar cohetes.
Y ya que me enrollo.

Estoy hasta las narices del cine español, y también de quien lo hace. No hacen más que sacar películas «aleccionadoras», de reflejar aquellos aspectos de la realidad que les interesan, de querer ser educadores de multitudes. Y para ello usan dinero público, ya que su basura no vende ni se sustenta ni a la de tres con capital privado. A ver si les retiran ya de una vez las subvenciones, porque muchas películas (perdón, quería decir basura) ni siquiera llegan a extrenarse… y están subvencionadas a lo bestia.
Si alguien me puede dar lecciones de algo no son, desde luego, esta panda de trasnochados gilipollas que abunda en el mundillo del cine español. Gente que va de guay por la vida, dando lecciones, opinando de todo y todos con aires de suerioridad (cuando en realidad no tienen ni puta idea de nada, porque van con la cultura justa para pasar el día), que se retroalimentan con discursos circulares entre ellos mismos y que lo único que buscan es la pasta y el sobresalir entre el resto de la gente. Si esta turba quiere dar lecciones, que lo haga con su propio capital, no con el de todos los españoles. Todos hemos visto que, en cuanto sale una buena película española, ella misma se sustenta con la recaudación. Pero esto no suele ser la tónica habitual, porque lo que abunda es el género basura, falto de imaginación. Por eso se dedican a realizar representaciones de la realidad… por que no les da la cabeza para imaginar nada.
