Puede que la anécdota dramática esté poco desarrollada, que necesitemos más desorden, más viscera, más aún, puede incluso que haya cabos y un sobrino sueltos, puede, en fin, que haya algunas salidas (a hombros) de tono, que no se sepa si habla de la pasión, de dios o del infierno de la creación, que Forman quede lejos, pero los doce minutos en suite de la novena sinfonía, la entrada del coro, súbita, eléctrica, soportan el gasto. Doce minutos inventados porque jamás Bethooven necesito de una asistente para dirigir, pero doce minutos de gracia y sin ser año nuevo. Puede que ver Copying Beethoven, la película de Agnieszka Holland, no sea imprescindible, pero desde luego se puede oir y dejarse llevar por la voz obtusa de Ed Harris convenciéndonos poco antes de morir de que para inventar la música hay que escuchar el silencio, el silencio que da sentido a lo que suena. Porque lo importante es lo que cada cual oye entre las notas.
