El crecimiento de la población es un indicador indirecto de prosperidad, de éxito. Lo ha sido siempre en la historia. Cuando la población se estanca, a medio y largo plazo, se producen pérdidas de capacidad, de potencial. Desde ese punto de vista lo ocurrido en España durante lo que va de siglo es espectacular, el caudal migratorio llegado a España en menos de diez años alcanza el carácter de acontecimiento demográfico.
Unos datos: en lo que va de siglo la población residente ha crecido en casi cinco millones de personas, de 40 a 45 millones. El salto de 35 a 40 millones necesitó un cuarto de siglo, el que va de 1974 al 2000.
La distribución de ese crecimiento por zonas geográficas es muy desigual. Hay regiones estancadas, sin crecimiento durante los últimos 35 años, regiones que envejecen aunque prosperan. Se trata de Galicia, Asturias, Castilla-León y Extremadura. Cuatro comunidades que en 1970 acumulaban el 21% de la población y que ahora no llegan al 16%.
Por el contrario las Islas, Baleares y Canarias, han doblado su población, de 1,5 millones a tres. Madrid, Valencia y Murcia han crecido un 60%, más de veinte puntos por encima del eje del Ebro: Cataluña, Rioja y Navarra. Y también Andalucía, que es la región más poblada, ocho millones que significan el 18% del total.
En la zona baja de crecimiento (+15%) están Aragón y Castilla-La Mancha, plataformas de mercados tan potentes como Madrid y Barcelona. Y el País Vasco que incrementa su población censada (sin apenas inmigrantes) hastA 2,2 millones, un cuarto de millón más.
Ese es el mapa de la distribución demográfica, que merece atención y estudio de detalle, que tiene el carácter de acontecimiento.
Observación final: las proyecciones de los demógrafos para el 2010, realizadas a principios de este siglo, apuntaban hipótesis entre 44,2 y 45 millones, es decir por debajo de las registradas a principios del 2007.
Segunda observación, el 2007 ha sido el año de menor crecimiento del siglo, otros 407.000 residentes; menos de la mitad del aumento del 2003 y del 2005.
Vaya, vaya, así que en 2003, aún durante el principado de Aznariano el Grande, entraron en España bastante más de 800.000 inmigrantes.Qué raro, si sólo vienen desde el 2004, solo por el efecto llamada, y solo por culpa de Zapatero…La chunga no es casual, es que las mentiras del PP me encienden tanto como sus jueguecitos con la xenofobia.

De esos 45 millones de personas. En España en las Elecciones Generales del 2004 pudieron votar 34.143.755, de los cuales se abstuvieron 7.628.756, votaron en blanco 406.789 y con votos nulos 261.590. Y considerando que en ese año la gente se «animó» a votar, las cifras de participación están por debajo de muchos paises. Al PP le votaron el 37,64% de los españoles y al PSOE el 42,64%, de la mitad, nada. Y sin considerar que esos porcentajes no son de españoles si no de los que votaron realmente que solo fueron el 77,21%.

Aqui en Palencia somos de las 5 provincias de España que disminuyo. (-200)Las otras 4 también son de castilla y Leon.Palencia tenia alrededor de 200.000 personas al principio del siglo veinte y ahora tiene menos.170.000.Palencia capital 15.000 personas ahora 80.000Castilla y Leon es la tierra que más emigrantes a generado pero no se sienten emigrantes por irse a Madrid, Pais vasco o Levante.Era mas grande que Alava, Tenerife y Las Palemas y ahora a pesar de no haber descendido más gracias a industrias como la Renault.( Que aporta más de 4000 empleos directos y muchos indirectos), depende del empleo publico: mas de 2200 en enseñanza,2000 en sanidad, 2000 en otras administraciones de la junta que hacen 6.000 trabajadores,2.000 de las administraciones locales, y 250 en la universidad. De lo que se deduce que 10.000 trabajadores dependen de los presupuestos del estado a los que sumar los 2000 agricultores dependientes de la PAC europea.todo esto dicho anteriormente nos enseña como unas tierras se han convertido en un sumidero de dinero.Si contamos los 40.000 pensionistas que residen en Palencia nos damos cuenta de lo que indicaba, menos mal que hay Estado que puede subsidiar a los que gestionan mal sus tierras.Se nota que Castilla y Leon siempre a estado gobernada por la derecha en el sentido mas capitalista del termino.Un ejemplo:Valladolid no tiene ni Caja de Ahorros.Las cajas castellanas son Caja España(Leon) y Caja Duero(Salamanca) y luego otras pequeñas como Caja Burgos,Caja Segovia,Caja Avila y Caja del Circulo Catolico de Burgos.Otro dia hablaremos de los empleos militares en Burgos y Valladolid (capitales de las regiones militares 1 y 6. Alomojo asi se entiende mejor porque es tan asi Castilla.

Hasta un estudiante de primaria sabe de cuando se estudiaba Geografia que los paises desarrollados y con calidad de vida eran los que habian estabilizado su poblacion, y por contra los paises del tercermundo la poblacion no para de crecer al mismo ritmo que la miseria.Si cada diez años crecemos el diez por ciento, solo hay que hacer una sencilla regla de tres para saber que dentro de unos años el panorama sera parecido a una escena de Blade Runner o a una fabela btrasileña.Claro a el que mas le da si cuando esto empieze a ponerse como Yugoslavia el estará disfrutando de su jubilacion en el caribe con sus «ahorrillos».Prosperidad..hay que tener la cara dura.

se le ve el plumero…. ignoro quien es mi jefe, el de las milongas. Revisa la idea de que los países prósperos estancan su población. no cuela. Mira los estados Unidos, por ejemplo. Otra cuestión es el cambio demografico como consecuencia de la urbanización y la industrailización, peor eso lleva má stiempo.

Hay muchos factores que influyen para que el crecimiento de la población sea bueno o malo en términos económicos.Estoy convencido de que en determinadas situaciones el crecimiento de la población puede ser fatal para el bienestar de los ciudadanos. En otros, en cambio, puede ser muy beneficioso.No creo que atines al establecer condiciones de causa – consecuencias inmutables para este caso. Urbaneja no dice que sea bueno infinitamente. Yo no lo he leído en su artículo.No pretendo defender las tesis de Urbaneja.
