Los acampados del movimiento 15-M nos han despertado, nos han gritado que estamos alelados, ‘atocinados’, dormidos sin caer en la cuenta de que nuestra falsa sociedad del bienestar se desmorona porque la injusticia y la falta de oportunidades se está comiendo a bocados a generaciones enteras de ciudadanos.
El cine también ha sabido, a veces, plasmar las aberraciones y abusos que se producen en nuestra sociedad. Sin remontarnos al neorrealismo y sus obras maestras (Ladrón de bicicletas, La tierra tiembla) o a clásicos como ‘Las uvas de la ira‘ o ‘Novecento‘, últimamente la reflexión también se ha planteado en la salas de cine gracias a directores como Ken Loach, Costa Gavras, Fernando León de Aranoa y o Laurent Cantent. Hoy os planteo que me ayudéis a elaborar una lista con los mejores filmes de denuncia social que hayáis visto. Yo todavía tengo pendiente el documental ‘Inside Job’, pero por lo que he leído y por lo que me han contado es de lo mejorcito que se ha estrenado por aquí, y más incisivo que el austriaco ‘Vamos a hacer dinero‘.
Os dejo dos extractos de ‘Recursos Humanos’ y ‘Capitalismo, una historia de amor‘. Me hubiera gustado dejaros algo de la excelente ‘El empleo del tiempo’, pero no lo he encontrado en castellano.
