De todos los tráilers espectaculares y vídeos que he visto estos días (Piratas del Caribe 4, Thor, Transformers 3), lo que más me ha llamado la atención ha sido este espectacular corto de animación que circula por la Red y que ofrece un final alternativo (y más truculento y ‘salvaje’) de la película ‘El Oso Yogi’ que se estrena este viernes en EE UU (en España está previsto que lo haga en febrero de 2011)
Quienes hayáis visto ‘El asesinato de Jesse James por el cobarde Robert Ford’ veréis las similitudes entre esta cinta y la escena final que protagonizaban Brad Pitt, Casey Aflleck y Sam Rockwell, incluso se utiliza la preciosa música que Nick Cave y Warren Elliscompusieron para la película de Andrew Dominik.
En el corto, para escándalos de muchos, el traidor es un Bubú lloroso que liquida al simpático e indefenso Yogi (el mundo de la infancia ya no es lo que era).
En apenas dos días, más de un millón y medio de personas se han descargado el vídeo de Youtube, y, en una muestra de que Intenet da pie a clonaciones ad infinitum, ha dado pie a su vez a otros vídeos paródicos.
Para los padres que estuvieran pensando en llevar a sus hijos a ver el filme de Yogi, tranquilidad. El tema del corto no tiene nada que ver con la trama de la película. Es una creación libre del animador Edmund Earle, un artista que tiene una impresionante página web con sus trabajos, que yo acabo de descubrir gracias a este corto.
