El finlandés Kimi Raikkonen podría haber firmado ya un contrato para regresar a la Fórmula 1 con la escudería Williams en 2012. Así lo insinúa el periódico de su país Ilta-Sanomat.
A principios de este mes, Ilta-Sanomat ya explicó que la clave para el regreso de Raikkonen a la Fórmula 1 estaba en que Williams firmase un acuerdo de patrocinio con el Qatar National Bank, un suculento socio que llenaría sus arcas de petrodólares para pagar la generosa nómina del excampeón del mundo.
Al parecer ese acuerdo entre la banca árabe y Williams está prácticamente cerrado después de que el jefe de la escudería, Frank Williams, completara el pasado fin de semana una gira por Qatar y Arabia Saudita. Hay que recordar que Williams ha mantenido históricamente una estrecha relación con patrocinadores árabes como Saudia Airlines, Albilad o Dallah. Incluso Bin Laden llegó a ser sponsor del equipo de Grove, tal y como os comenté en un viejo post.
Raikkonen, por su parte, debutó en la Fórmula 1 en 2001 con Sauber y posteriormente pilotó para McLaren entre 2002 y 2006. La temporada siguiente dio el salto a Ferrari, equipo con el que se proclamó campeón del mundo ese mismo año. La llegada de Fernando Alonso a Ferrari precipitó su marcha de la Fórmula 1.
PD. Sería interesante volver a contar con Kimi en la Fórmula 1 y quizás serviría de revulsivo para la escudería Williams.
Kimi no es un «trabajador» no es del tipo de piloto que desarrolla el vehiculo y Williams requiere un piloto que trabaje para el equipo que desarrolle que busque los limites junto con los mecánicos y ese no es Kimi

Francamente cuando el mundo del motor esta conmocionado con la perdida hace 15 dias del piloto ingles de Dan Wheldon en la IndyCar y este fin de semana la perdida trágica del piloto de MotoGp Marco Simoncelli ,la verdad es que pongas la milonga de Raikkonnen y los rascacielos de New York, para relleno me parece una mala anécdota.
El mundo del motor ha cerrado filas con la muerte de Marco Simoncelli.

Yo verdaderamente lo flipo, cuando Indurain ganaba en ciclismo todo el mundo a ver ciclismo y a opinar que si de unos que si de otros. Cuando Calos Sainz ganaba en WRC otro tanto de lo mismo, aparte de decir que si nosecuantos campeonatos iba a ganar.
Ahora esta de moda Fernando Alonso en F1 y yo me pregunto, ¿cuantos de lo que aqui escriben verán una carrera de F1 cuando Alonso se retire?, y digo esto porque en la sexta cuando Alonso ya no este ¿que tendra que hacer el calvo?, a los que verdaderamente seguimos este espectaculo o este circo como lo llaman algunos nos da lo mismo que este Alonso o no, seguremos viendo la F1 por satelite, o por Tv3 como en cataluña.

Me pregunto yo… no se si es envida no se si es rabia no se si es amor xD pero hay mucha gente q habla de alonso tanto pro como contras… miren y lean bien la notica habla de el regreso de kimi raikkonen, la verdad hace mucha falta en la formula 1, es un gran piloto y un gran campeon, yo no digo q gano el titulo de rebote porq ese año 2007 condujo bien y ayudaron un poco las peleas internas de mclaren, tambien tiene grandes palmares y victorias muy buenas, ahora bien a ningun campeon de la formula 1 se le puede decir q es un mediocre si gana un campeonato como gane 5 es bueno, recordemos que muchos compiten y solo 1 gana y no es por rebote o porque el otro tenia un coche mejor y lo fundia (caso alonso 2005 en renault) simplemente fueron buenos esos años tanto alonso 2005 2006 como kimi en 2007 porfavor mas respeto al mundo motor y a estos dos grandes pilotos!!

Sigo la formula 1 por mas de 20 años , no entiendo porque se preocupan tanto por un piloto sea español o finlandes, para mi la F1 no la hace un solo piloto , ni Senna que para mi criterio fue el mas grande de la historia. entonces porque desgastarce en dimes y diretes ?
