Hace tres años y pico, cuando este blog echaba a andar, un buen amigo me propuso hacer un post sobre canciones para conducir. Sonaba interesante, pero nunca lo llegué a hacer. Entre otras cosas porque creo que la cantidad de temas es tan abrumadora que daría, más que para una entrada, para una ingente cantidad de ellas.
Esta tarde me voy de vacaciones, así que la ocasión la pintan calva. He dedicado los últimos dos días a grabar cedés de mp3 para el coche. La selección abarca fundamentalmente a los grupos que más escucho últimamente: Midlake, Maritime, Monsters of Folk, Guadalupe Plata, el nuevo de Foo Fighters o The Phoenix Foundation, y un mucho de mis bandas habituales: Wilco, Fugazi, Radiohead, Death Cab For Cutie, Jets to Brazil… Aparte, gran cantidad de rock and roll, surf y garage de viejo cuño, un par de clásicos de blues, otro poco de soul sudoroso y algo de rap.
Hoy os propongo diez canciones ideales para ponerse tras el volante. Unas por su temática, otras directamente por su energía.

I do not know whether it’s just me or if everybody else encountering problems with your blog. It looks like some of the text within your content are running off the screen. Once I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. Is there any means you can take away me from that service? Thanks!

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of «neighbors» will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune «Social» is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
