El fútbol es una locura y se mueven cantidades increíbles para el momento en el que vivimos. Por eso, me niego a creer la escalofriante oferta que, según los medios ingleses, va a hacer este verano el Manchester City por Cristiano Ronaldo:
¡227 millones de euros!
Los jeques del City, que han conseguido a base de talonario meter al equipo en la Champions, tienen el dinero por castigo y quieren convertir a su equipo en un grande de Europa. De ello ya se ha quejado, por ejemplo, el entrenador del Tottenham, Harry Redknapp:
«Ya han tanteado a dos jugadores de mi equipo, y no pararán hasta conseguir la Premier y la Champions, y lo peor es que no se puede hacer nada al respecto»
La cifra astronómica de la que están hablando en Inglaterra tampoco nos debería extrañar si la comparamos con la cláusula de rescisión que, supuestamente, pone en el contrato de Cristiano Ronaldo:
¡1.000 millones de euros!
A favor del Madrid está, sobre todo, que Cristiano sabe que el City nunca le dará la posibilidad de ganar tantos títulos como el Madrid. Y Cristiano lo que quiere por encima de todas las cosas es ganar.
De todas formas, la pregunta quizá sería si vosotros venderíais a Cristiano por 227 millones de euros. Habrá mucha gente que no, pero otros muchos le pondrían un lacito y le mandarían para Manchester.

Redknapp tiene razón, lo que hace el Chelsea es, en vez de tener cantera, comprarla, con muy buenos ojeadores,; pero lo que quiere hacer el city… es… horrible, yo espero que jugadores como bale no acepten las ofertas por dignidad más que nada, por que el día que el Man City gane la copa de Europa así, el fútbol habrá muerto, y el 11 que lo haga no podrá sentirse aorgulloso
