El entrenador del Barcelona, Pep Guardiola, soprendió ayer con su respuesta a las manifestaciones de José Mourinho horas antes. Fue un comportamiento impropio de Guardiola, pero algo que el entrenador catalán consideró necesario para intentar ganar esa batalla psicológica que siempre plantea, y casi siempre gana, el técnico portugués del Real Madrid.
Dicen que fueron los propios jugadores los que le pidieron a Guardiola, con motivo de las semifinales de Champions, que cambiase su discurso ante las constantes alusiones, la mayoría de ellas veladas, que Mourinho hace de la entidad azulgrana y de sus jugadores en las ruedas de prensa. Pues bien, ayer cuando el preparador azulgrana entró en el comedor del hotel madrileño donde se hospedan para la cena, los futbolistas le recibieron con una sonora ovación.
Hasta ayer, Guardiola nunca había entrado en el juego dialéctico de Mourinho. Pero el catalán decidió saltarse sus propias normas porque el luso le nombró directamente y le tuteó. Es poco probable que el técnico culé vuelva a actuar de esta forma, pero nunca se sabe cuando es Mourinho el rival que se pone por delante.
