Ya contamos hace unos días que la perla de la cantera azulgrana, el gaditano Nolito, no renovará su contrato con el Barcelona y quedará libre el próximo 30 de junio. Parece que el Benfica portugués será su destino, pero él lo niega («son rumores, aunque hay interés», dice) y afirma en una entrevista concedida al Diario de Jerez que aceptaría una oferta del Real Madrid.
«Yo siempre he sido del Barcelona y siempre lo seré, pero soy realista y por encima de todo lo que quiero es jugar. Si me viene Florentino y me ofrece una buena cantidad y el Barcelona no me quiere renovar, pues me iré porque soy un profesional. Si el Madrid apostara por mí, por qué no. Siempre quiero que gane el Barcelona, pero cuando juegue contra mí, que pierda», afirma Nolito.
También habla de su relación con Pep Guardiola: «Conmigo Pep está bastante bien, me ha dado mucha confianza. Ahora estamos con el tema de la renovación y no estoy teniendo la oportunidad de entrar, pero conmigo se ha portado muy bien y le tengo que estar muy agradecido. Me ha hecho debutar en Primera, en la Supercopa de España y no tengo ninguna queja. Es una política de ellos. Si un jugador queda libre y mete tres goles con el primer equipo, la gente se le va a echar encima. Es normal que si uno no va a continuar por ahora, no vaya con el primer equipo. Yo estoy contento».
