Después de muchos meses de espera y de especulaciones con cuentas no oficiales (y suspendidas), la ex secretaria de Estado de EE UU Hillary Clinton ha tuiteado por primera vez. Y claro, su recién llegado marido, Bill Clinton, y su hija Chelsea le han dado la bienvenida enseguida.
Pero, ¿para quién ha sido la primera manifestación tuitera de la también exsenadora en esta red social? Pues para Adam Smith y Stacy Lambe, creadores del famoso Tumblr Texts from Hillary, uno de los mayores productores de memes del pasado año en el que varias imágenes especulaban con los mensajes que Clinton enviaba desde su móvil.

De hecho, Clinton ha escogido la misma imagen para su avatar que la cuenta de Twitter de TFH, la imagen que lo empezó todo (es una foto de Time de 2011), y ha optado por escribir una divertida bio en su perfil, incluyendo las siglas TBD (To be determined), algo que muchos interpretan como una alusión a sus posibles aspiraciones políticas de cara a 2016.
«Gracias por la inspiración», ha dicho Clinton en su primer tuit; en pocos minutos ha logrado acumular más de 70.000 seguidores. La cuenta, en este caso, está verificada.
¿Y quién recoge ahora el testigo en Tumblr de Clinton? Evidentemente, Obama. A raíz de las informaciones reveladas por The Washington Post y The Guardian sobre la existencia del programa de espionaje PRISM y la obtención de datos por parte de la Agencia Nacional de Seguridad estadounidense (NSA) de nueve empresas de Internet, entre ellas Facebook y Apple, hay un blog que ha adquirido cierta popularidad.
Se llama Obama Is Checking Your Email (Obama está revisando tu correo electrónico) y se creó hace un par de días con imágenes del presidente de Estados Unidos… pues eso, leyendo cosas de ordenadores o de móviles.

P.D. No tengo nada contra el matrimonio Clinton en lo personal, y para el Ex-Presidente tengo gran simpatía, a pesar de algunos de sus actos de Gobierno.
