Hace unos meses, con motivo del 30 aniversario del estreno de ‘Aterriza como puedas’ recuperé para este blog un fragmento de la película. Recuerdo que algunos de mis amigos me agradecieron el recordatorio, sobre todo, decían, porque habían vuelto a vera Leslie Nielsen. Es difícil encontrar a otro actor que despertara tanta simpatía y cariño.
Todavía recuerdo con una sonrisa en la boca lo entrañable y simpático que apareció en el programa de Buenafuente cuando vino a promocionar Spanish Movie, donde se le rendía un indisimulado homenaje. Hace falta ser muy grande para aparecer tan humilde y poco pretencioso. Hace falta tener muy interiorizado el sentido del espectáculo para aparecer en el plató, ya octogenario, y algo débil, con una máquina de pedos para intentar sorprender a la audiencia.
Cuánto mérito tiene hacer reír sin darse importancia, qué difícil es hacer un buen gag, pero de verdad uno bueno, partiendo del absurdo.
Os dejo unos cuantos vídeos de él que he cogido de YouTube. Volver a verlo es la mejor forma de homenajearlo. Volver a verlo y reír, que es lo que se notaba que le gustaba hacer.
PD. Leo que se ha suicidado Mario Monicelli. Qué triste, qué duro.
Dios bendiga al mejor actor de humor de todos los tiempos.. Hecharé en falta su gran carisma y su talento para hacer reir con sus infinidades de disparates.. Sigo partiendome de risa cada vez que veo tus películas, y lo seguiré haciendo.
Por ejemplo, me encanta esta parte:
» ¿Un accidente?, tener un hijo a los sesenta es un accidente, que te caiga un piano encima es… MALA SUERTE»…
