Este lunes salía una noticia a la palestra a través de las agencias EFE y EUROPA PRESS de la que nos hicimos eco casi todos los medios. Según la misma, el director de cine Alejandro Amenábar iba a contar con Javier Bardem y Bárbara Goenaga para buscar sus raíces guipuzcoanas en su próxima película: ‘Duques’.
Sin embargo, unas horas después, eran las propias agencias de noticias las que publicaban una anulación de la noticia «al tratarse de una información falsa difundida por la Fundación Cristina Enea«, según EFE. «Rogamos anulen a todos los efectos esta noticia con la que la fuente informante pretendía celebrar este martes el Día de los Inocentes», decía el texto de EUROPA PRESS.
Lo cierto es que la propia Fundación Cristina Enea anunciaba en la tarde de este mismo lunes que «se trataba de una broma que teníamos preparada para el martes, pero que lamentablemente se nos ha ido de las manos». También reconocían que «»la broma ha ido demasiado lejos, debido a la inmediatez de los canales de comunicación de hoy en día, gracias a los cuales las noticias vuelan y se difunden con gran rapidez«.

Amenábar llevará al cine la vida del Duque de Mandas con Bardem
El director Alejandro Amenábar rodará en 2012 el largometraje Duques, con el que llevará al cine la vida y obra de Fermín Lasala y Collado, Duque de Mandas, nacido en San Sebastián en 1832, que protagonizarán Javier Bardem y Bárbara Goenaga.
Amenábar ha acudido al Centro de Recursos Medio Ambientales de Cristina Enea de San Sebastián para documentarse sobre el lugar donde el protagonista de su próximo film pasó gran parte de su vida, y donde ha sido recibido por el director de la Fundación Cristina Enea, Txema Hernández.
Según ha explicado el director, su intención es la de continuar con la serie de películas biográficas que inició en 2004 con su trabajo Mar adentro, una aproximación a la figura de Ramón Sampedro, quien sufriendo una tetraplejia, se quitó la vida en 1998.
Para esta ocasión, Amenabar volverá a contar en Duques con la participación de Javier Bardem, quien interpretará el papel del Duque de Mandas, mientras que la actriz donostiarra Bárbara Goenaga será la que dé vida a la esposa de Fermín Lasala, Cristina Bruneti de los Cobos, Duquesa de Mandas.
Diputado, senador, ministro
El realizador ha apuntado que la vida del duque de Mandas «fue apasionante, desde todos los puntos de vista» ya que «con tan sólo 25 años fue elegido diputado, y después pasó a ser senador, además de ministro de Fomento y embajador en París y Londres».
Además, Alejandro Amenábar y el propio Fermín Lasala están emparentados con lazos familiares. «Mi abuela, Felisa Lasala, era de Lasarte y ella y el duque de Mandas eran primos carnales por parte de padre, por lo que esta historia será un viaje en el tiempo en busca de mis raíces guipuzcoanas», ha apuntado.
Finalmente, ha informado que, para esta película, contará con actores y actrices no profesionales y autóctonos, «para dar más realismo a la historia», y ha añadido que llevará a cabo próximamente un casting en el Centro de Recursos Medio Ambientales de Cristina Enea.
Pues yo no le veo que tal noticia pueda ser una barbaridad o una inocentada . Bardem bien podria ser el protagonista de esa película ¿Y por que , no?
