Domenicali también reconoce que hubiera entendido una destitución por parte de la cúpula de Ferrari:
«Sé que tengo que estar preparado para cualquier cosa, especialmente si llevamos más de dos años sin conseguir los resultados esperados. Pero afortunadamente esto no es fútbol y no es como cambiar a un entrenador por otro. Siempre he sentido un gran apoyo del presidente»
Domenicali también explica que tras el error de Abu Dhabi se han modificado muchas cosas en Maranello para no tropezar con la misma piedra:
«Conozco bien el equipo y creo que soy la persona adecuada para capitalizar todo lo que ocurrió. Hemos cambiado totalmente los métodos de trabajo en Maranello y estoy seguro de que pronto veremos los resultados»
PD. Espero que Stefano tenga razón y en Maranello estén preparados para no repetir los mismos errores de 2010 …que no fueron pocos.
