El presidente de Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo, ha asegurado que el campeón del mundo, Sebastian Vettel, acabará siendo piloto de la Scuderia algún día:
«Sebastian es rápido, inteligente y joven. Tarde o temprano acabará pilotando un coche rojo»
Algún antialonsita podría imaginarse que Montezemolo ya le está buscando sustituto a Fernando Alonso, pero nada más lejos de la realidad.
Hay que tener en cuenta que Montezemolo ha hecho estas declaraciones en el tabloide alemán Express, un diario sensacionalista que ha tardado poco en realizar el montaje que os muestro al principio.
Además, el jefe de Maranello sólo responde así cuando le preguntan por los deseos públicos de Vettel de convertirse en piloto de Ferrari. A Montezemolo no le quedaba otra salida, si no quería enemistarse con el público germano.
El propio diario Express especula con la posibilidad de que Vettel se convierta en escudero de Alonso debido a los malos resultados de Felipe Massa.
PD. Personalmente creo que es complicado que Vettel fiche por Ferrari mientras Alonso siga en la escudería italiana. Y no niego que sería atractivo ver a los dos pilotos compitiendo con el mismo monoplaza…
