Probamos el tablet de HP que competirá con el iPad, el Slate
Ahí estamos. Clipset vuelve a estar al filo de la noticia, esta vez probando (poco pero de primera mano) el HP Slate, la contraofesiva del mundo Windows al iPad de Apple.
Durante unos escasísimos minutos pasó por nuestras manos el HP Slate del cual ya sabemos algunas cosas más como, por ejemplo, que costará… unos 400€, situándose por debajo del iPad y ligeramente por encima de los netbook, con los cuales comparte gran cantidad de características. Su lanzamiento oficial será en junio y llegará a Europa no antes de septiembre. HP ha confirmado que utilizará Windows 7, que reproducirá Adobe Flash, integrará un procesador Intel Atom, tendrá USB, lector de tarjetas de memoria y cámara integrada (en el respaldo). Su diseño difiere del iPad en que parece más gordito, en que tiene más conexiones y botones, por los laterales y en que el respaldo está acabado en goma antideslizante, aunque nadie nos aseguró que sea una unidad final. Lo más evidente en este primer contacto es que, en pocas palabras, el Slate es un tablet que proviene de reducir un netbook, mientras que el iPad tiene más que ver con un iPhone ampliado.
¿Tienen suficiente en común como para competir o son dos dispositivos diferentes bajo un aspecto similar?

No tiene mala pinta, ahora a ver si ese atom rinde y sobre todo peso y calentamiento, pero por precio genial, muy ajustado

Son dos cosas completamente diferentes. Como bien decís el slate es un netbook reducido…. con windows 7 …. el iPad es una apuesta por simplificar las tareas mas básicas y comunes de la informática.

luce buenisimo!! Es justamente lo que se esperaba! Ya quisiera que estuvera en el mercado. Una victoria para HP, imagino, en comparacion de la decepcion que nos dio el iPad. (Ya incluso hay personas que dicen que esta mejor el iPad nano, ese que cabe en bolsillo y que tambien hace llamadas) no ofense.
